When I Wear My Stuff

I am the modern rover—watch me walk and talk.

I wear my sunglasses at night.

I wear my brown moccasins after a heavy lunch.

I wear my tie-died bandana only before breakfast.

I wear my teal vest in the front room while reading philosophy.

I wear my ass-less chaps on Thursdays and Fridays, often from 4-5 p.m. I call this ass-less happy hour.

I wear my Scandinavian sweater on rainy Sunday afternoons in the winter.

I wear my big black boots in the shower, for good traction.

I wear my long underwear with the holes in it on Fridays.

I wear my mustard-stained t-shirts underneath my Italian suits.

I wear my hair bonnet in the attic while playing checkers.

I wear my footed pajamas on winter holidays.

I wear my forest-green silk pants in the evening on the third Wednesday of every month.

I wear my 20-year-old dungarees with the rip at the knee after I've just woken up from an extra satisfying nap.

I wear my fuzzy yellow leggings when I'm feeling extra punchy.

I wear nothing when I'm eating a bowl of fresh pasta.
