love Dan Savage. his column is great and I feel like he's a real pioneer for free speech and getting people to be more comfortable with sexuality. and he's funny as fuck. good for him for always doing the right thing.
Dan Savage peaked in the 90s. He's today "Dear Abby," a comparison he'd probably be happy with.
I suppose Neal Armstrong peaked in the 60s, hmm? Maybe FDR peaked in the 40s? And I suppose Einstein peaked in that movie he did with Meg Ryan? Psh! Dan Savage? Peaked? Ridiculous.
Well, yeah, Armstrong peaked once he hit the moon. And FDR croaked in '45, just after getting outfoxed by Stalin. But sure, Savage has built himself a lucrative cottage industry, so good for him.
