But you're in one of the smartest sections of Vienna, walking into a posh cultural institution to see one of the most talked-about art exhibits in recent memory: "The Porn Identity," an over-the-top exploration of sexual imagination.
The L.A. Times must REALLY be hurting to run a "so what else is new" story like this.

i have to agree with you here, sour. porn and art are extremely well covered topics by artists. for me, the glaring omission from that LA times article is Jeff Koon's Made in Heaven series, which are paintings of the Koons and his rock hard cock and his wife's tits and vajay-jay, engaging in sexual acts. so, no, art + porn are not new. i did like the point that to bring porn outside of the private sphere is somehow to render it something other than porn.
the movie shortbus is a great example of that, i think.
