Pride and Perseverance

Speaking of gospel melding into soul, here are two songs that essentially deliver the same message—to pick up one's pride and
persevere. The first song (below) is "Seat in the Kingdom" by Crumb Brothers. It's from the Mississippi Records album compilation "Life is a Problem." The other song is "That's Alright" by Ed Crook which is found on the compilation album "The Golden Torch Story: The Torch Classic Soul Club."
