Barkley: I plan on it in 2014.
Brown: You are serious.
Barkley: I am, I can't screw up Alabama.
Brown: There is no place to go but up in your view?
Barkley: We are number 48 in everything and Arkansas and Mississippi aren't going anywhere.
All I have to say is that Alabama is no Minnesotta

Be afraid of what? This election isn't even over and we're talking 2014? Funny stuff, but that's all it is.
I'd rather have Barkley than Palin as my Gov
Oh, please. Yes, Palin's a lousy veep candidate. Probably not a bad governor, especially in her first term. And none of us would have barely, if at all, heard of, had McCain not made the dumb choice to put her on the national ticket. So spare me the hyperbole, let the woman lose, let her flame out if she goes for national office again, but let's not pretend she's got the intelligence of a gnat, because that plainly isn't true.
Hey, we've got Schwarzenegger as Gov. of California. Is it really so hard to imagine Barkley as Gov. of Alabama -- God help us. Not saying I don't agree with a lot of what he said, but Jesus Christ, it's Charles fucking Barkley, give me a break.
