Laugh, Cry, Or Download?

Since the Internet lets everyone read about everything, does being cool still feel like you're in on a secret? Like if you read about foreign electro on blogs, are you more in touch with the "authentic" currents of culture? Are things "underground" anymore, or are they just "new" and possibly "not good?" This is what we're wondering as we watch a video dug up by Hipster Runoff for a Futurecop! song that sets a very old story about boys and girls in a very neon scene. Something's getting exploited for marketing purposes here, but we're not exactly sure what.

The video chronicles a set of altBros and a set of altBroads who are falling in altElectroLove with one another. There's a lot of meaningful parts, including listening to music on big quirky headphones, 'getting ready for a date/looking into a mirror' scenes, and even a dance nite at an electro party. Yall will probs be able to relate to it.

I also <3 the pulsating electro screen divider.

Do yall like split-screen courtship videos?
Whenever u r about to get into a medium term relationship and u get butterflies about ur impending tugjob/relationship, do u imagine the other person in a split screen as u get ready? (or am I the zany one?)
