Here's a 1960s soul duo
in the same vein as Sam & Dave. Eddie Campbell and Ernie Johnson,
Jr. recorded some banging material but never even cracked the surface
of the R&B charts. "Bullets Don't Have Eyes" appeared as a
previously unreleased track on the Kent Records compilation Lost
Friends, and is now receiving a new pressing on the Daptone Records
sub-label Ever-Soul. Absolutely triumphant brass on this one. One
simple word: Kingship!
