Let's see...acoustic guitar? Check. Harmonica? Check. Denim jacket? Check. Donovan pulls off the tightest Dylan impression he can muster with this 1964 performance of "Catch the Wind."

  • Cool find, but in the recorded version I don't think he used a harmonica, I wonder why he used one now.

  • Donovan did go hippy-dippy in fairly short order, but he wasn't a "Dime Store Dylan." Songs like "Sunny Goodge St.," "Season of the Witch" and Sunshine Superman" more than make up for "Jennifer Juniper" and the like.
