These Brits, who at one point rivalled fellow Liverpudlians the Beatles in popularity, rocked this performance in 1965. Two points of interest:

1) The crowd is fantastic. They're slow dancing to the edgiest music of their time. This video confirms that awkwardness is ingrained in the British national character.

2) The drummer looks incredibly bored.
