All Up In Cut Copy's Business

Cut Copy "Hearts On Fire" live

Australian's power dance-pop group is causing a sensation among kinetically inclined hipsters on their current U.S. tour. Here's some front row video from a recent New York show. It's just like being there, only without the sweat.

The following video was included in this article:

Go on a ride with Cut Copy back to the best bits of 80s new wave right here.

Here's another video from the same exact show of the same exact song, proving both that  Cut Copy is very popular and that the price of digital recording technology continues to decline. It's further back and the sound isn't as good, but it's less jumpy.

Discussion
  • I saw these boys here in Detroit last week. It was unfortunately pretty underwhelming and the show only went about 35-40 minutes. The main complaint was that they skipped over the entire first half of In Ghost ColoUrs, which is by far the best slice of the album. Do they spell color with a "u" in Australia? What the fuck?

  • Maybe you should wait until you actually, you know, see them live before saying that. The camera always adds 15 pounds, or something like that.
