Brakhage Breaks

This is Mothlight, experimental filmmaker Stan Brakhage's 1963 short film. Brakhage taped moth wings, twigs, leaves, and other natural detritus onto clear film and made prints that could be projected. He died in 2003, leaving us a massive and prolific filmography.
