Not tweeting = 1 year in jail?

Justin Bieber's manager, Scott "Scooter" Brown, wanted on two misdemeanor charges from an incident at a Long Island mall last November, turned himself over to the cops today.

Here's the basic run-down: Bieber was set to have an autograph signing at the Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City, NY. Because the crowds were so insane, and thousands of 14-year-old girls were rioting or some shit, the event was canceled and police asked Brown to "put up a Twitter" (i.e. tweet) that everyone please go home because Justin would not be appearing. I guess because Brown took too long to get to a computer, police decided to charge him with reckless endangerment and criminal nuisance. If convincted, he could be sentenced to up to a year in prison.

Video of the incident here.
