• I'll stick with Modest Mouse and Radiohead, thank you very much.

  • This is a great clip. I've seen some Ozzie and Harriet on DVD and it's for the birds, but Ricky Nelson had a great voice. In Bob Dylan's "Chronicles" he wrote that he listened to Nelson as a teenager, which seems a little far-fetched, but who knows. If Nelson hadn't been stifled by tv and agents, I bet he could've had a cool Buddy Holly-like band.

  • Cool video, haven't listened to Ricky Nelson much, but I think I'll check him out.

  • No Ricky Nelson (and his contemporaries), no Modest Mouse. Period.

Fit for Black Tie

Ricky Nelson performs "Travelin' Man." Yep, it's a black tie affair.

Check out the vintage Jazzmaster used by the lead guitarist. Those were the days.
